Eligibility

To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must:
1. Be an enrolled member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.

2. Have been accepted by a graduate or doctoral school (the graduate school must require one of the following for admission: GMAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT).

3. Be willing to return to Cherokee and contribute toward the betterment of the tribe for a minimum of two (2) years if employment is available.

4. Meet the special criteria established by the Board of Directors for any on-line graduate and doctoral courses.

AMOUNT OF AWARD
The amount of the award will depend upon the funds available.
LENGTH OF AWARD
It is the intent of the Scholarship Fund that the student selected to receive the scholarship will be guaranteed funding until a degree is obtained within a specified period of time.
SELECTION PROCESS
Recipients must meet the eligibility requirements and apply for funding. Selection of the recipients will be made by the Board of Directors of the Richard (Yogi) Crowe Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc.
